The short version

Some links on GPUCostLab may become referral or affiliate links: to GPU cloud providers, and on the Run AI at home guides, to retailers such as Amazon. If you sign up, spend or buy through one, the provider pays GPUCostLab a commission or credits, at no extra cost to you. Every such link is labeled "(paid link)" right beside it, and any page with one says so at the top, before the first link.

Current relationships

This list is generated from the same partner registry the site uses to build its links, so it always matches what the pages do.

Provider Relationship Program page
RunPod None: links are plain, unpaid links RunPod program
Vast.ai None: links are plain, unpaid links Vast.ai program
DigitalOcean None: links are plain, unpaid links DigitalOcean program
Lambda None: links are plain, unpaid links Lambda program
Amazon None: links are plain, unpaid links Amazon program
Newegg None: links are plain, unpaid links Newegg program
B&H Photo None: links are plain, unpaid links B&H Photo program

Every other provider in the GPU price table and the API price list, and every hardware maker in the Run AI at home tables, pays GPUCostLab nothing.

Rules

  1. Labels sit beside the link. Every paid link carries a visible "(paid link)" label next to it and is marked rel="sponsored" for search engines. A footer note is not enough, and the site doesn't rely on one.
  2. Commissions don't decide order. Tables are sorted by price or by the column you choose, and hardware is grouped by memory and ranked by bandwidth from the vendors' own specifications. Providers and products that pay nothing are read and listed exactly like those that pay.
  3. No paid placement. Providers cannot pay to be included, ranked, described or left out.
  4. Recommendations come with their conditions. Where a page says renting a GPU is worth it, it also says when an API is cheaper, and the break-even calculator is there to check.
  5. No fake reviews or results. GPUCostLab publishes no testimonials, never uses AI-generated reviews, and publishes no benchmark until it has been measured (methodology).
  6. Free tools stay free. The calculators and the price table need no account or purchase.
  7. No retailer prices or ratings. Hardware pages show no prices, star ratings or reviews from any store. Prices change too often to print, and Amazon's rules allow its prices and ratings only when they come through its own API or its own links.

These rules follow the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and the FTC rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465).

Questions

If a link isn't labeled when it should be, please report it through the about page. It will be fixed and the fix noted.
